荣获2009年中国全国舞台艺术精品工程“十大精品剧目”及第十二届中国文化部“文华大奖”

中国大型杂技剧《西游记》首次来马来西公演，关丹很荣幸作为大马巡演的首站。

作为中国首部与古典名著结合的杂技剧，《西游记》由中国著名广州杂技团倾力打造，包含各类技艺表演，并融入舞蹈、武术和木偶等艺术品种，加上一流的舞美设计，展现中国现代杂技的全新魅力。

该剧除了在新加坡获得亮眼成绩，也曾在中国多个城市以及香港、澳门、台湾、澳大利亚和德国演出，在国内外享有盛名。

《西游记》改编自中国文学经典，精选了“大闹天宫”、“三打白骨精”、“女儿国·盘丝洞”、“火焰山”四幕，再加上尾声，共五个段落，来讲述中国古典文学名著《西游记》的故事，并根据不同杂技节目的不同情绪、不同节奏、不同风格，将不同的杂技技巧融入观众熟悉的《西游记》故事中，将“中国精神”从内容到形式体现得淋漓尽致。

该剧曾在中国国内及国际各类大型杂技比赛中获得100多项大奖，被中国国家文化部誉为“为繁荣发展杂技艺术作出突出贡献的杂技团”。这些奖项包括“全国歌舞杂技主题晚会优秀剧目展演”一等奖、中国“文华奖”（6项大奖）、中国艺术节“观众最喜爱剧目奖”、第七届中国杂技“金菊奖”金奖等。2009年又荣获中国全国舞台艺术精品工程10大精品剧目。

A cclaimed acrobatic drama“Journey to the West”, willmade its Malaysia debut in this may 2012, Kuantan is honor tp be the first stop of its tour in Malaysia.

Based on one of China’s literary classics written by Wu Cheng’en of the Ming Dynasty, Journey to the West tells the tale of monk who travelled to India in search of Buddhist sutras, accompanied by the irreverent and capable Monkey King known as Sun Wukong, and two other disciples Pigsyand Sandy. On their way to the West, the group had to overcome various obstacles such as their encounter with The White Bone Demon, the Queen of the Kingdom of Women, the Spider Demon, the Ox Demon and his wife Iron Fan Princess from the Fire Mountain, before reaching their destination “Western Paradise” – the birthplace of Buddhism.

Performed by the renowned Guangzhou Acrobatic Troupe of China, this award-winning production boasts a visual spectacle involving various types of acrobatic feats. Combining dance, martial arts, puppetry and modern stage techniques, this world-class circus act has wowed the Singapore audiences twice within the last three years. Apart from Singapore, Journey to the West has also enjoyed resounding success when it performed in China, Hongkong,Macau, Taiwan, Australia and Germany.
